What's a Splatling?

Hey everyone!

The second of two weapon types joining Splatoon are Splatlings!
Splatlings are a mix between chargers and shooters, which when you charge it up, a flurry of many shots of ink is launched at your opponents!

This weapons looks great, and will join Splatoon on Thursday (AEST)!

Level Up!

Hey everyone!

Splatoon is adding 30 more extra levels to the level Cap this Thursday! That means that you can level up to Level 50 in total! Levelling up also has changed, similar to Splatfest, of 3 points for a win, 1 point for 200p+ inked or 2 points for 400p+ inked! There is also a reward after every 5 levels! Could this be new weapons? New gear? What could it be?

What Do You Think? - Third Party Characters in Smash Bros

Hey everyone!
There is still a lot of talk about Smash Bros, even after 9 months of it's release! Today's question is about more DLC in Smash!

What Third Party Smash characters would you like to see in Smash? 

This leaves the character roster to have endless possibilities! I've picked 5 Third Party characters that I would like to see in the game!
First are two characters already in my Top 10!
First up is Professor Layton!

I think that the best puzzle solver on Nintendo 3DS definitely deserves a spot on the roster!
Up next is Shovel Knight!

Shown to be very popular among the public along with Bomberman and Shantae is Shovel Knight! He also has videos of artists drawing him as he would look in Smash!
These next 3 characters are probably a bit unlikely to see in the game...
First is Mickey!

Mickey appeared in the video game, Epic Mickey, and uses paint to attack foes! However, if Inklings were instead included, it probably wouldn't be great to include Epic Mickey too...
Up next is a character from Angry Birds!

This is Red (or Red Bird) from Angry Birds! Angry Birds is one of the most popular franchises on the planet, with 5 million downloads in less than 2 days for it's latest game, Angry Birds 2! Could Nintendo make a character like Pokémon Trainer and have multiple birds included? This could highlight Nintendo entering the mobile market!
Last character is probably never going to happen, and it is from Lego!

We all know Lego, and we have probably all built a Lego set at least once in our lives. Why not include the main character from the Lego movie, Emmett, in Smash! He does appear in a video game, but probably won't be in Smash Bros.
To add to the end, another character who isn't a third party character which could be included are the Chorus Kids!

This is a fan made drawing of them for the game, and they have been rumoured in the past for the game, alongside Chrom. Who knows, we could have a Rhythm Heaven mascot in Smash bros with a 'Together Now' final smash!

Marshmallows vs. Hot Dogs (America's Splatfest)

In America and Canada, the new Splatfest theme has been announced for next Weekend!
What do you prefer to roast on a campfire? Marshmallows or Hot Dogs?
This probably means that the next Splatfest theme for Europe and Oceania could be announced as soon as tomorrow, if there will be one next weekend!

Inkbrush Nouveau and Range Blaster Join Splatoon!

Hey everyone!

Two more weapons join the huge roster of Splatoon weapons today!
First is the Inkbrush Nouveau!

The Inkbrush Nouveau is very similar to the Inkbrush, except with a different Sub and Special! Equip yourself with Ink Mines and the Bubbler to win!
There is also the Range Blaster!

The Range Blaster can fire shots further than a normal Blaster! You can also use a Splash Wall and the Inkstrike to go better at your range shooting!
These weapons are out now!

Smash Battle #01 (First Round, Game 1)

Hey everyone!

Smash Battles have arrived, thanks to the next YouTube compatibility of Smash Bros!
Smash Battles will be uploaded every Wednesday and Saturday, and all characters from the game will be competing (excluding Mii fighters)!
Today is Smash Battle #01, the First Round and Game 1!
Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Lucas and Mewtwo (me), are competing for a spot in the Quarters!
Here we go!

Smash Battles are on every Wednesday and Saturday and are completely random of who competes per match!
See the winner of this match in the Quarter Finals, which won't be played until the 12th of September!
Meanwhile, Smash Battle #02 (First Round, Game 2) will be played between:

Greninja, R.O.B., Palutena and Wii Fit Trainer go head to head! I'm playing as Greninja!
The Stage is also undecided, so let me know your favourite stage to play this game on!
