Happy Halloween! (Spook Bros. Final)

Spook Bros. Gears Up! (Games 5 & 6)

Hey everyone!
The Spook Bros. series has just hit another gear, with the competition for second place so close, that only one or two points separates them!
Spook Bros. #05 (@ Town and City)

We travelled to Town and City in the night-time for Game 5! It's two series battling against each other, Bowser and Luigi from the Mario series and Ganondorf and Link from the Legend of Zelda!

Spook Bros. #06 (@ Final Destination)

The last game before the final had everyone on the edge of their seats! With Link already qualifying for the Final and Luigi scarcely just scraping in, Meta Knight had the oppourtunity to create a Sudden Death match or even take the title from Luigi!

Two New Weapons Arrive to Splatoon Today!

Hey everyone!

The Squid Research Lab likes to mix things up ever now and then, and has decided to release two weapons today (on a Friday, not a Saturday) at 1pm (AEDT) today!
First up is the H-3 Nozzlenose D!

This weapon is similar to the H-3 Nozzlenose, and is equipped with Point Sensors to track your opponents, and the Inkzooka to blast squids away!
The other weapon is the Luna Blaster Neo!

Fans of the Luna Blaster Neo will love this! It is your usual Luna Blaster equipped with Splat Bombs and a great Splat Bomb Bomb Rush!
They're out at 1pm!

Introducing Nintendo's First App, Miitomo!

Nintendo has just announced it's first app with their partenrship with DeNa, and it is called Miitomo!
Miitomo looks like a communication game with friends by using your own Miis!
This game is going to be relaesed alongside the My Nintendo rewards program, in March 2016!

Nintendo has just announced it's new rewards program, called My Nintendo, to be out in March 2016!
Following Nintendo's strong consumer program Club Nintendo, My Nintendo looks to bring heaps of rewards. From Purchasing and even Playing the games, points can be transferred into rewards such as Offical Merch, Discounts and Digital Games and Content!

Spook Bros. Begins! (Games 1 & 2)

Hey everyone!
We are only a week away from Halloween so I have started this new series, Spook Bros, to count down until the spookiest night of the year!
Smash Battles are having a break this week, with the next battle returning on Sunday, the 1st of November!
There are 6 battles this week, and a final on Halloween!
8 fighters have been picked to battle this week, all looking very spooky and Halloween like!
The fighters have been pitted up against a rival, who they will face in every battle, and will be paired up against another rival group! It is still a free for all though, biggest score wins!

The first match of six is at the spookiest stage of them all, Luigi's Masnion! Watch Luigi, Bowser, Dark Pit and Marth battle it out in a very close match!

The second match is on! Here we meet the other 4 fighters battling it out for the Spooky Cup! Will it be Link, Ganondorf, Meta Knight or Samus to win this one?

What Do You Think? - 5 Sequels We Always Hope to See

Hey everyone!
With the rumours, leaks or whatever you want to call them about Super Mario Galaxy 3, I thought today's question could be about sequels!

What classic Nintendo games deserve a sequel?

I have picked 5 classic Nintendo games that we need a sequel for! Only rule is, the game has to be a sequel and not have a previous version out in the last 3 years!
First up is what inspired this post, Super Mario Galaxy 3!

We loved the first two Super Mario Galaxy games and fans are asking for more! Could we see it on Nintendo's next console, codenamed NX?
Up next is Super Mario Sunshine 2!

We loved clearing the streets of Delfino Plaza and chasing after Shadow Mario! With new graphics, we could see a Splatoon look alike as Super Mario Sunshine 3! Why Not?
Up next is F-Zero!

We need a new F-Zero game for the Wii U or even NX. The fast paced races in Mario Kart 8 were heaps of fun and just a slice of the great cake the next F-Zero game could be!
Next up is a game based off Wii Sports Resort!

Wii Sports resort added more things for our Miis to do than ever! Whether it was Bowling, Cycling or Skydiving, we always had heaps of fun at Wuhu Island! With Wii Sports Club showing what we could see with the 5 classic Wii Sports, why not add more in a new Wii Sports game!
Last up is actually a pretty classic series, and it is Excitebike!

Why not design many arenas like Excitebike Arena in Mario Kart 8 and have everyone on bikes in a 3D take on the 2D original Excitebike? It could be heaps of fun!

Smash Battle #27 (First Round, Game 8)

Hey everyone!

Today I am back for yet another Smash Battle!
Last time, Pikachu shocked the competition (see what I did there...) and defeated King Dedede in Sudden Death! He joins R.O.B. and Fox in Quarter Final #02!

Today, the last spot of Quarter Final #02 is up for grabs!
We have Mewtwo (me) and Bowser Jr. battling it out once again after Mewtwo trumping Bowser Jr in QF #01 of Smash Touney #01, joined by Captain Falcon and Pit!

Smash Battle #26 (First Round, Game 7)

Hey everyone!

I'm back again with yet another Smash Battle!
On Tuesday, it was a Sudden Death thriller with a three player sudden death (Meta Knight has a Self Destruct)! With Wii Fit Trainer KOed, R.O.B. picked up the Duck Hunt Duo and slammed him into the ground!

Today, the third spot in Quater Final #02 is up for grabs!
See Pikachu, Shulk, King Dedede (me) and Little Mac fight it out above the areas of the Legend of Zelda in Skyloft, in the next Smash Battle!

Happy Birthday NES!

Hey everyone!

Nintendo's first entertainment system, named just that, (NES = Nintendo Entertainment System) hit stores across North America on the 18th of October, 2015 (30 years, 2 days ago). It's NES' 30th birthday (even though it didn't release until 1987 in Australia).
The NES was home to some of the most iconic Nintendo games, including the original Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Excitebike and also The Legend of Zelda!

Smash Battle #25 (First Round, Game 6)

Hey everyone!

Two days ago, when Cats beat Dogs in Splatfest #06, Fox was also the first fighter through to Quarter Final #02! Fox faced off against Sonic, Mega Man and Peach and ended up winning! Look at this awesome kick he did against Sonic!

Today is time for the second spot of Quarter Final #02! Fighting it out today is Duck Hunt Duo, Wii Fit Trainer, Meta Knight (me) and R.O.B. will face off for that spot!
Last time Wii Fit Trainer and R.O.B. faced off, it ended up in Sudden Death!
Remember when Wii Fit Trainer completely owned R.O.B.?

Today, R.O.B. is looking to turn the tables! Can he do it?

Meow!

Hey everyone!

Team Cats has won the sixth Splatfest on Splatoon! Yay!
The result began with the Popularity Vote!
As I have with all Splatfests since North vs South Pole, I was on the least popular team, and Team Dogs won against Team Cats 54% to 46%.
All hope was not lost, I remember the battles being very close when I was playing so the Splatfest could of gone either way!
Congratulations to Team Cats with their thrashing win over Team Dogs in the Win Vote, winning 56% to 44%!
And the winner is...
Team Cats!
Team Cats has defeated Team Dogs 270 points to 230!

So far, my Splatfest results are 4-1!
So that's it for this Splatfest!
Bad luck to Team Dogs and Congratulations to my team again, Team Cats!

Splatfest Moments (Cats vs Dogs)

Hey everyone!

The Cats vs Dogs Splatfest is still on Now in Splatoon!
As I have with the last 2 Splatfests, here are some of my favourite 'Splatfest Moments' of the sixth Splatfest, Cats vs Dogs!
First up, my cat, named Pancake, looks like he's playing for Team Cats!

Up next is the first match I played today! I'm at Moray Towers with a 68.7% thrashing against Team Dogs! This also takes the prize for the biggest win for me at this Splatfest!

Next up we're at Walleye Warehouse with the closest win for Team Cats against Team Dogs! Equalling the closest win of last Splatfest is this 0.7% win!

Hats off to Team Dogs for this ultimate defeat, beating us, Team Cats, by 68.5% also at Walleye Warehouse!

My last battle today was at Saltspray Rig. Team Cats sadly lost my last battle by Team Dogs doubling our score.

On the bright side, I am now a Cat King! Yay!

There is still time left in the sixth Splatfest!
Keep on battling for the next 11 hours (until 4am, AEST, Monday) to make your side win!
