Lots of Content Hits Smash Today!

Hey everyone!

Remember back a few weeks when we heard that the Super Mario Maker Stage was being released today? Turns out that wasn't the only DLC we could expect today!
Of course, we did see the Super Mario Maker stage release today!

Up next is a returning stage from Super Smash Bros Brawl and it is Pirate Ship! This stage features you on a boat travelling around in the water! It is from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and is featured right now in Semi Final #02 of Smash Tourney #01!

There was also a flurry of Mii Fighter costumes announced today!
First up are the Business Suits! These can be used with all fighter types and look pretty sharp!

Next up is Captain Falcon! The fighter now has a Mii Costume based off him and he is a Brawler!

After this we have another Fighter turned Mii Fighter, this time it is Fox! The Star Fox leader is featured as a Gunner costume for Miis!

Another familiar face in the game is a costume for Toad! Toad is everyone's favourite helper in the Mushroom Kingdom and now has a Brawler costume based off him! Yay! Could we still see him as a fighter?

Next up are two Monster Hunter 4 costumes!
First is Hunter!

There is also Rathalos! Both of these cotumes are Swordfighter Miis only!

The last costume is Viridi! Viridi appears in Kid Icarus-Uprising and is back as a Swordfighter in Smash Bros 4!

As another note, the Duck Hunt stage has now been added to the 3DS version for free!
That's all of the new content in Smash Bros today!
Even better is that it is not finished! There are still 3 days left of the Fighter Ballot and then we may see even more fighters added to the game!
I can't wait for Shovel Knight, Inkilings, Captain Toad (hopefully), Wolf O' Donnell and Professor Layton!

Smash Battle #18 (feat. Pirate Ship, Semi Final #02)

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to Smash Tourney #01 and Smash Battles!
Last Saturday (gee... that feels like a long time ago!), Mewtwo was defeated by Luigi in a close match! Luigi got two early KOs to begin with, including a Final Smash, and a last effort by Mewtwo wasn't enough, defeated by Luigi by 1 KO.

Now, it is time for the second Semi Final, to determine who will play Luigi on Saturday!
Will it be Ness? Ness has had an easy ride to the Semis, only having to win the close Fast-Forward earning him the nickname, the Fast Forward King!
Or could it be Marth (me)? He has gambled with Sudden Death twice, will his third time mean total domination of Ness?

Greeny Goes Online #06 (feat. TheFabDuck vs Pac-Man Pair)

Hey everyone!

Surprise! I am back again for another Greeny Goes Online! This time, we have special guest!
GreenyMulti is back! With her new name 'TheFabDuck'!

Today, TheFabDuck has teamed up with me to take on a Team of Pac-Mans, we call them the Pac-Man Pair!
I'm playing as Robin and TheFabDuck is playing as King Dedede in the sixth Greeny Goes Online!

Tonight, as soon as the new stage hits the eShop, Semi Final #02 will be live right here!

The Sudden Death Gambler, Marth is taking on the Fast Forward Champion Ness in the second Semi Final! The winner will play Luigi in the Grand Final on Saturday!

Club Nintendo Closes

Greeny Goes Online #05 (Samus vs Shulk)

Hey everyone!

Welcome to the fifth Greeny Goes Online!
This battle will be the last until Thursday, and is an epic battle between Metroid's Samus and Xenoblade's Shulk!
It is also the longest battle so far, lasting just under 3 minutes! Who will win this epic battle!

Greeny Goes Online #01 (Roy vs Ike)

Hey everyone!

I've been having a go at Online Battles in Smash Bros and I thought I would hare a few of the video moments!
Over the next 3 days, expect 5 videos in total of 'Greeny Goes Online'!
Then on Wednesday, the epic Smash Battle Semi Final Decider between Marth and Ike will be on!
All of the battles are 1 on 1 battles against this person I was playing a few matches against today!
The first battle is me playing as one of my best characters, Roy, playing against another Fire Emblem character, Ike!

Tri-Slosher Out Now!

Hey everyone!

The Tri-Slosher has arrived in Splatoon as of midday today! It is a Slosher with 3 rows of Ink Spreading!
The Tri-Slosher is a powerful weapon, extremely deadly with the use of Disruptors!
Don't forget about it's Bubbler special, protective against all Enemy attacks!

New amiibo Out Now!

Hey everyone!

I've just picked up 5 of the 6 new amiibo out now in stores across Australia and Europe!
Today, Mr Game and Watch, Duck Hunt Duo, the Three Mii Fighters and R.O.B. (didn't get him), arrived in shops across the country!

Mr Game and Watch is different to any amiibo we have ever seen before, with interchangeable poses! You could be normal, ringing a bell, parachuting or even judging!

Smash Battle #17 (Semi Final #01)

Hey everyone!

It's Semi Final time in Smash Tourney #01!
On Wednesday, Marth proved his the Sudden Death King and won his second nail-bitingly close match against another Fire Emblem fellow, Roy. Funnily enough, Marth also defeated a Fire Emblem friend in the First Round against Robin in Sudden Death!

Marth earned himself a spot in Semi Final #02, held on the new Super Mario Maker stage next week!
Today is time for Semi Final #01!
It is a battle between Mewtwo and Luigi!
Mewtwo has had an easy ride to the Semis, winning convincingly in both his First Round and Quarter Final matches!
The psychic Pokémon is up against the underdog, Luigi! Luigi luckily won his First Round match with a powerful last move in the dying seconds! He also had a lucky escape in his Quarter Final, picking up a hammer in the last 20 seconds of the match, to face Villager in a Sudden Death match, where Villager was quickly defeated.
Let the battle begin!

Next Wednesday, the second Semi Final will be played!
It is also the day of the new Super Mario Maker stage in Smash Bros, which is where we will be live from!

Marth and Ness will play against each other in Semi Final #02 next week!
Will the Fast Forward King, Ness, take out the battle or will the Sudden Death Dodger, Marth, be the winner?

Tri-Slosher Arrives Tomorrow!

Semi Finals Approaching!

Hey everyone!
What an action packed 8 weeks it has been!
We have had all 52 Smash Bros fighters battle it out continuously for the prized championship of the first Smash Tourney!
After yesterday's nail-bitingly close Sudden Death Quarter Final 3, the Semi's are approaching, with the winners to progress to the Grand Final!
Only 4 competitors remain, each going to face off for their spot in the Grand Final! Who will win the first Smash Tourney? Will it be Mewtwo, Ness, Luigi or Marth?
The schedule for the Semi Finals are:
Saturday 26th September, 2015
Mewtwo takes on Luigi in the first Smash Semi! Will Mewtwo and his psychotic actions get him through? Or will Mario's Shadow, Luigi, defeat the Physic Pokémon once and for all?

Wednesday 30th September, 2015
Arriving a bit late in the day is Semi Final #02! Already confirmed to be played on the brand new Super Mario Maker stage! Woo hoo! This time, Fast Forward winner Ness, the favourite of Earthbound, will take on the swordfighter Marth from the Fire Emblem series!

It is so close to the end of the first Smash Tourney!
Stay tuned on Saturday for the first Semi Final to Qualify for the Grand Final! Which side are you? Mewtwo or Luigi?

Smash Battle #16 (Quarter Final #03)

Hey everyone!

It's Quarter Final time in Smash Battles!
Last Saturday, we had an epically close Quarter Final #02. After Luigi grabbed his hammer and knocked out both Dedede and Fox, he and Villager were ready for a Sudden Death clash, where Luigi quickly destroyed Villager in a matter of seconds!

Luigi now joins Mewtwo in Saturday's first Semi Final!
Today is where the last spot in the Semi Finals is up for grabs!
Battling it out today for a spot against Ness in Semi Final #02 include Marth, Roy (me), Rosalina & Luma and Samus, held in the Boxing Ring!
Here we go!

The winner of today's match will play Ness next Wednesday in Semi Final #02!

10 Days of Super Mario Maker!

Hey everyone!
Super Mario Maker has been out for 10 days and already over a million levels have been created by the community! Great work guys!
I thought I share 3 of my own stages right here with their level IDs for you to have a go!
First up is Battle of the Koopas!

The idea of this level is to pit the Red and Green Koopas against each other in an airship battle! Watch out for the cannonfire!
There are two of this level, including Battle of the Koopas and the Remix!

Next up is Lava Bubble Trouble!

Set inside a castle is this extremely difficult course! Watch out for Lava Bubbles, Mega Lava Bubbles, Grinders and even Thwomps in this devilish level!

The last of the 3 (or 4) is the Three Doors level!

Similar to a familiar Ghost House Level is the three doors! You have three doors to pick each leading to a different fate! Could you see Boos fired from Cannons, Kameks or even a Winged Mega Boo? The Choice is yours to escape the Ghost House!

Messy Wins

Hey everyone!

Congratulations to Team Messy for defeating my team, Team Tidy, in a convincing 28 point victory!
Here's all the results summed up in a helpful infographic!

First up was the popularity vote, which team would have the most people supporting it?
Judging by the amount of people laying and no repeat battles for me, I thought that Team Messy would beat us, as they did, 56% to 44%.
All was not lost, in the last two Splatfests, Team South Pole and Team Singing both losing the popularity vote.
However, Team Messy took the Wins vote in a nail-biting 52% to 48% victory!
That leads to the 264-236 victory for Team Messy!

Splatfest Moments (Messy vs Tidy!)

Hey everyone!

I'm a Tidy King! Yay!
Last Splatfest, in Singing vs Dancing, I had a 'Splatfest Moments' post (check it out here!) with my favourite times at the Splatfest! I became a Singing King, has a Vibe meter through the roof and a crushing 74% margin victory!
Today I've had heaps of fun playing on Team Tidy!
My first battle of the day was a win! I was at Hammerhead Bridge, out newly for the Splatfest!
It was pretty convincing too!

Next up was my Biggest Win! Also on Hammerhead Bridge was a 77.6% to 12.7% thumping of team Messy! Great work guys!

The next battle was definitely an arm-wrestle! In a nail-biting close 0.7% victory to Team Tidy, this is the closest match of the Splatfest for me! There was only 10 battle points between us! So close!

After more battling, I had reached my final battle at Urchin Underpass!
I can say that I started and finished with a win, in a convincing 53.3 to 34.2 win at the Underpass!

It's here where I became a Tidy King! :D

It's up to you guys to keep Team Tidy on it's great winning spree!

There is just under half of the Splatfest to go!
As a side note, congrats to Team Art in America for coming out on top against Team Science in a 255 (51 pop, 51 win) to 245 (49 pop, 49 win) victory! Picasso would be proud!
